Abstrak :
ABSTRAK Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai manajemen terhadap informasi publik yang diterapkan di Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI). Implementasi dari praktik manajemen informasi ANRI ini terdiri dari identifikasi sumber informasi publik ANRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil temuan menjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen informasi publik di ANRI terbagi berdasarkan jenis sumber informasi publik itu sendiri, yaitu informasi publik yang bersumber dari arsip dinamis dan informasi publik yang bersumber dari arsip statis. Manajemen informasi publik yang diterapkan oleh ANRI mencakup tiga kegiatan utama, yaitu pengolahan, penyimpanan dan penyebaran informasi publik. Berdasarkan hasil temuan di lapangan, terdapat beberapa kekurangan ANRI dalam memberikan pelayanan keterbukaan informasi publik yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan ANRI dalam melakukan manajemen informasi terhadap informasi publik. Oleh karena itu, ANRI masih perlu meningkatkan perencanaan dan upaya yang lebih baik yang berkaitan dengan manajemen informasi publik ANRI.

Abstrak :
Individu dalam Lapas juga memiliki kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi salah satunya kebutuhan informasi. Kebutuhan informasi ini perlu untuk dipenuhi agar mendukung tujuan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan yaitu menyiapkan individu dalam Lapas agar siap kembali hidup di dalam masyarakat. Dengan adanya pembatasan di dalam Lapas tentu akan mempengaruhi kebutuhan informasi tersebut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perilaku informasi dengan mempelajari apa kebutuhan informasi, sumber informasi, dan hambatan narapidana dalam memperoleh informasi serta peran perpustakaan Lapas dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap 3 narapidana dan 1 kepala Lapas Kelas III Rangkasbitung. Hasil yang ditemukan yaitu 3 kebutuhan informasi utama narapidana adalah keluarga, kesehatan, dan kehidupan pasca masa tahanan. Sumber informasi utama narapidana yaitu teman dan keluarga, penghuni Lapas (termasuk petugas Lapas), dan perpustakaan. Hambatan utama untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yaitu keterbatasan untuk menggunakan telepon atau video call dan keterbatasan koleksi perpustakaan. Perpustakaan Lapas juga turut berperan aktif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi narapidana melalui skema kebijakan pengadaan koleksinya yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat narapidana. Berdasarkan temuan, Lapas Kelas III Rangkasbitung membantu narapidana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya. ......Individuals in prison also have needs that must be fulfilled, one of which is the need for information. This information need needs to be fulfilled in order to support the goals of the penitentiary’s, which is preparing individuals in prison so that they are ready to return to live in society. The existence of restrictions in prison will certainly affect the need for information. This research focuses on information behavior by studying what information needs, sources of information, and challenges prisoners have in obtaining information and the role of the prison library in fulfilled these needs. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method of 3 inmates and the warden. The results found that the main information needs of convicts are family, health, and post-detention life. The main sources of information for prisoners are friends and family, people in prison (include prison staff), and the library. The main challenges in fulfilling information needs are limitations to using telephones or video calls and limited library collections. The prison library also plays an active role in fulfilling the information needs of convicts through a policy scheme for procuring collections according to the needs and interests of immates. Based on the findings, Lapas Kelas III Rangkasbitung can help inmates so that their information needs are met.

Abstrak :
OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi sangat dibutuhkan bagi pengguna perpustakaan. Salah satu Perpustakaan yang telah memanfaatkan OPAC adalah Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemanfaatan OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi di website Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Evaluasi Inspeksi Kebermanfaatan dalam meninjau pemanfaatan sistem OPAC dari 165 butir checklist sistem OPAC yang harus dipenuhi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa hanya sebesar 41,82% butir checklist yang terpenuhi, artinya OPAC LAPAN Bandung masih belum baik. Oleh karena itu, Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung perlu mengoptimalkan pengembangan website OPAC sehingga dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya. Adapun keluhan yang ditemui pengguna akibat kurangnya efektivitas OPAC adalah sulit menemukan informasi terkait ketersediaan buku. Pengguna masih harus mengandalkan penelusuran mandiri ke rak buku atau bertanya langsung kepada pustakawan. ......OPAC as a means of information retrieval is needed for library users. One of the libraries that uses OPAC is the LAPAN Bandung Library. This study aims to see the use of OPAC as a means of retrieving information on the LAPAN Bandung Library website. This study uses the Usability Inspection Evaluation Method in reviewing the utilization of the OPAC system from the 165 items of the OPAC system checklist that must be fulfilled. The results of the study show that only 41.82% of the 165 items of the OPAC system checklist were met. This shows that the quality of OPAC LAPAN Bandung is still poor. Therefore, Lapan Bandung Library needs to optimize the development of its OPAC website so that it can effectively and efficiently satisfy the needs of its users. The users complained the ineffectiveness of OPAC that it is difficult to find information regarding the availability of books. Users still have to independently browsing on the bookshelf or ask the librarian directly.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa dalam menggunakan ChatGPT. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memahami penggunaan ChatGPT dalam proses pencarian informasi mahasiswa dan membandingkan penggunaan ChatGPT pada mahasiswa bidang sains teknologi dengan sosial humaniora untuk keperluan pencarian informasi. Data pada penelitian ini didapatkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap dua orang informan yang terdiri dari satu mahasiswa saintek dan satu mahasiswa soshum. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis penggunaan ChatGPT oleh mahasiswa berdasarkan model perilaku pencarian Ellis untuk kemudian dilakukan perbandingan perilaku pencarian informasi antara mahasiswa saintek dengan mahasiswa soshum. Hasil dari analisis data menyebutkan bahwa tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan antara mahasiswa saintek dan soshum dalam menggunakan ChatGPT pada proses pencarian informasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah diskusi, yakni teori perilaku pencarian informasi saat ini belum mampu mengakomodasi penggunaan AI sebagai sumber informasi, sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan teori perilaku pencarian informasi dengan memasukkan peran AI ke dalam proses pencarian informasi. ......This study discusses the information seeking behavior of students using ChatGPT. The research aims to understand the utilization of ChatGPT in the information seeking process of students and compare its usage between STEAM and social sciences and humanities (SSH) students. Data for this study were obtained through semi-structured interviews with two informants, one from the STEAM field and one from the SSH field. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods, analyzing the usage of ChatGPT by students based on Ellis' information seeking behavior model, followed by a comparison of information seeking behavior between STEAM and SSH students. The results of the data analysis indicate that there were no significant differences in the usage of ChatGPT between STEAM and SSH students in the information seeking process. The study generates a discussion highlighting the current inadequacy of information seeking behavior theories to accommodate the role of AI as an information source. Therefore, there is a need for the development of information seeking behavior theories that incorporate the role of AI in the information seeking process.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai efektivitas penggunaan standar deskripsi arsip Describing Archives: A Content Standard dalam pengelolaan arsip elektronik di berbagai repositori arsip. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan standar deskripsi Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS) sebagai standar deskripsi arsip dalam era tranformasi pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Metode penelitian yang diigunakan adalah metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), proses penggumpulan data dengan melakukan pencarian pada beberapa publikasi jurnal internasional dan meninjau sebanyak 20 artikel yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan DACS telah terbukti efektif dalam beberapa repositori institusi dalam pengelolaan arsip elektronik di Amerika Serikat. Beberapa repositori telah mengadopsi elemen metadata repositori arsip yang direkomendasikan oleh standar deskripsi arsip DACS. Selain itu, fleksibilitas standar DACS dalam melakukan Archive Authority Control telah menghasilkan penemuan arsip yang lebih akurat, konsisten, dan terperinci. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang manfaat penggunaan DACS dalam pengelolaan arsip elektonik. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi intitusi dan organisasi dalam menerapkan DACS untuk meningkatkan aksebilitas, penemuan dan penggunaan arsip elektronik secara lebih efisien. ......This study discusses the effectiveness of using standard archive descriptions Describing Archives: A Content Standard in the management of electronic archives in various archive repositories. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using standard descriptions Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS) as a standard description of records in the transformation era of electronic records management. The research is using Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the process of collecting data by searching several international journal publications and reviewing as many as 20 articles that are relevant to the research topic. The results of the study show that the use of DACS has proven effective in several institutional repositories in the management of electronic records in the United States. Some repositories have adopted the archive repository metadata elements recommended by the DACS archive description standard. Additionally, the flexibility of the DACS standard in performing Archive Authority Control has resulted in more accurate, consistent, and detailed archival findings. This research provides a better understanding of the benefits of using DACS in managing electronic records. The findings of this research can serve as a guide for institutions and organizations in implementing DACS to increase accessibility, discovery and use of electronic records more efficiently.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang diiringi dengan jumlah informasi yang melimpah, menuntut masyarakat untuk dapat memiliki kemampuan dalam melakukan pengelolaan terhadap informasi tersebut. Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Tingkat Literasi Informasi Mahasiswa Atlet: Tim Pelatda Karate DKI Jakarta” dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa atlet di Tim Pelatda Karate DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa atlet di Tim Pelatda Karate DKI Jakarta sudah memenuhi tiga dari lima standar yang telah ditetapkan Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL, 2000) yaitu, mengevaluasi informasi dan sumbernya secara kritis, menggunakan dan mengomunikasikan informasi dengan efektif untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu, dan memahami tentang penggunaan akses informasi secara etis dan legal. Mayoritas mahasiswa atlet belum memenuhi standar pada bagian menentukan jenis dan batas informasi yang diperlukan dan bagian mengakses informasi yang diperlukan secara efektif dan efisien. ......The development of information technology, which is accompanied by an abundance of information, places an obligation on every community to be able to have the ability to manage this information. This research is entitled "Analysis of the Information Literacy Level of Student Athletes: DKI Jakarta Karate Pelatda Team" with the aim of identifying the level of information literacy ability of student athletes in the DKI Jakarta Karate Pelatda Team. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method and the data collection technique used was interviews. The results of this study are that student athletes in the DKI Jakarta Karate Regional Training Team have met three of the five standards set by the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL, 2000), namely, critically evaluate information and its sources, use and communicate information effectively to achieve goals. and understand the ethical and legal use of access to information. The majority of student athletes do not meet the standards in determining the type and extent of information needed and in accessing the information needed effectively and efficiently.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia sebelum dan sesudah pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian menggunakan jenis analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan pola perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi perubahan yang terjadi setelah pandemi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan tentang sumber-sumber informasi yang mereka akses sebelum dan sesudah pandemi COVID-19. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sumber informasi yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa tidak mengalami perubahan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pandemi. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kecenderungan bahwa mahasiswa lebih sering menggunakan perilaku pencarian aktif, seperti mencari informasi melalui internet atau bertanya kepada teman, daripada perilaku pencarian mendalam yang melibatkan analisis dan evaluasi lebih mendalam terhadap sumber informasi. Selain itu jenis kelamin juga menentukan jenis informasi apa yang mereka akses.Penemuan ini memberikan wawasan penting terkait pola perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia pasca pandemi COVID-19. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya upaya pendidikan dan pengembangan kompetensi informasi bagi mahasiswa guna meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam melakukan pencarian informasi secara efektif dan kritis. ......This research aims to explore the information seeking behavior of University of Indonesia students before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The study employs a descriptive analysis method to depict the patterns of students' information seeking behavior and identify any changes that occurred after the pandemic. The respondents for this research consist of 100 University of Indonesia students. Data were collected through questionnaires containing inquiries about the information sources they accessed before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis results indicate that the information sources used by the students did not undergo significant changes before and after the pandemic. However, there is a tendency for students to engage in more active information seeking behaviors, such as searching for information on the internet or asking their peers, rather than adopting deeper information seeking behaviors that involve analysis and more thorough evaluation of information sources. Additionally, the research finds that gender also influences the type of information accessed by students. These findings offer essential insights into the information seeking behavior patterns of University of Indonesia students in the post-COVID-19 era. The implications of this research highlight the necessity for educational efforts and information competency development for students to enhance their skills in conducting effective and critical information searches.

Informasi magang yang tersedia di berbagai media sosial, termasuk TikTok, sangat penting untuk Generasi Z. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana pengguna TikTok yang mengikuti “@Baihaqi Hamman | Info Magang” mencari informasi tentang magang. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelajahi korelasi antara Teori Penentuan Diri (Self-Determination Theory) dan perilaku Gen-Z dalam proses pencarian informasi magang. Melalui metode kuantitatif dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 422 pengikut TikTok “@Baihaqi Hamman | Info Magang,” penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengikut menilai dan menghargai informasi magang yang disajikan oleh pembuat konten, terutama karena elemen hiburan yang ditambahkan oleh pembuat konten. ......Information about internships accessible across various social platforms, including TikTok, holds significant importance for Generation Z. This study is designed to comprehend the approach of TikTok followers of “@Baihaqi Hamman | Internship Info” in their search for internship details. Furthermore, this research seeks to delve into the relationship between Self-Determination Theory and the behavior of Gen-Z during their quest for internship information. Employing a quantitative method and disseminating a survey to 422 followers of “@Baihaqi Hamman | Internship Info” on TikTok, the research discovered that followers highly regard and appreciate the internship content provided by the creators, particularly due to the appealing aspect of entertainment incorporated by the content creators.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola dan peranan jaringan komunikasi Perpustakaan Umum Daerah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam mendukung kegiatan taman bacaan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling selanjutnya melakukan observasi dan wawancara selama Bulan April sampai Mei 2022. Kemudian teknis analisis data menggunakan model 3 tahapan coding; open coding, axial coding, dan selective coding. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan pola dan peranan jaringan komunikasi di Perpustakaan Umum DKI Jakarta. Pola yang terbentuk adalah pola all channel dan peran yang ditemukan meliputi peran bridge, cosmopolite, dan stars. Kemudian tidak ditemukan peran isolate yang menandakan bahwa pegawai tidak ada yang bersifat pasif dalam komunikasi. Perpustakaan Umum DKI Jakarta memiliki proses komunikasi tersendiri berdasarkan peran jaringan komunikasi sesuai dengan tanggung jawab dan kepentingan yang dimiliki oleh pegawai. Pola dan peranan ini tentu saja mendukung keberlangsungan TBM mulai dari kegiatan, sarana prasarana sampai dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kesimpulannya adalah melalui pola dan peran jaringan komunikasi, Perpustakaan Umum DKI Jakarta dapat mengetahui pola yang digunakan selama berkoordinasi dan peran masing-masing pegawai dalam mendukung TBM. Saran yang dapat diajukan yaitu perlunya kehadiran peran Gatekeepers untuk menyaring informasi yang masuk dan diharapkan untuk penelitian yang akan datang dapat melakukan penelitian dengan komprehensif. ......This study aims to identify the pattern and role of the communication network of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Public Library in supporting community-based library activities. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The technique used in further information is using the purposive sampling technique to conduct observations and interviews from April to May 2022. Then the technical analysis of the data using a model of 3 stages of coding; open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. This study found the pattern and role of network communication in DKI Jakarta Public Library. The pattern formed is an all-channel pattern and the roles found include the roles of bridge, cosmopolite, and stars. Then there is no role isolate which indicates that no employee is passive in communication. The DKI Jakarta Public Library has its communication process based on the role of the communication network following the responsibilities and interests of the employees. This pattern and role of course support the sustainability of community-based library infrastructure starting from activities and facilities to the quality of human resources. The conclusion is through the pattern and communication of the role of the network, the DKI Jakarta Public Library can find out the pattern used during coordination and the role of each employee in supporting community-based library. Suggestions that can be put forward are the need for the role of Gatekeepers to filter incoming information and it is hoped that future research can conduct comprehensive research.

User experience adalah komponen penting dalam pengembangan situs web di mana arsitektur informasi perlu dipertimbangkan. Arsitektur informasi dapat membantu memudahkan pengguna untuk menemukan apa yang mereka cari dan butuhkan di sebuah situs web. Dalam menyediakan informasi yang dibutuhkan pengguna, Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia (UI) perlu menganalisis hubungan antara pengalaman pengguna dengan persepsi pengguna terhadap arsitektur informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Post-study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ), Usability Metric For User Experience (UMUX), Standardized User Experience Percentile Rank Questionnaire (SUPR-Q), dan Library Search UX dan mendapat tanggapan dari 127 mahasiswa UI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pencarian perpustakaan, kapabilitas sistem, navigasi situs web, kepercayaan, loyalitas, dan antarmuka pengguna berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi pengguna terhadap arsitektur informasi situs Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Selain itu, kualitas informasi, kualitas antarmuka, dan kualitas sistem tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi pengguna terhadap arsitektur informasi situs web Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dari situs web Perpustakaan UI. ......User experience is an essential component in website development where information architecture needs to be considered. Information architecture can help make it easier for users to find what they are looking for and need on a website. In providing the information needed by users, the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Library needs to analyze the relationship between user experience and user perceptions of information architecture. This research uses the Post-study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ), Usability Metric For User Experience (UMUX), Standardized User Experience Percentile Rank Questionnaire (SUPR-Q), and Library Search UX instruments and received responses from 127 UI students. The results showed that library search, system capability, website navigation, trust, loyalty, and user interface significantly affect user perceptions of the information architecture of the Universitas Indonesia Library website. In addition, information quality, interface quality, and system quality do not significantly affect user perceptions of the information architecture of the Universitas Indonesia Library website. This research is useful for further development of the UI Library website.
