Terdapat berbagai permasalahan lingkungan yang ada di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah masalah sampah. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan adalah dengan beralih menggunakan produk ramah lingkungan. Untuk dapat memprediksi pembelian produk ramah lingkungan, penting untuk meneliti intensi membeli produk ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua hal yang menyebabkan green purchase intention, yaitu perceived environmental responsibility dan concern for self-image pada konsumen emerging adult. Partisipan berusia 18-29 tahun mengisi kuesioner secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived environmental responsibility dan concern for self-image secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memprediksi green purchase intention pada konsumen emerging adult. Selain itu, concern for self-image memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap green purchase intention dibandingkan perceived environmental responsibility. Hal ini berarti bahwa pada konsumen emerging adult intensi membeli produk ramah lingkungan lebih dipengaruhi oleh kepedulian terhadap citra diri dibandingkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan.


Among many environmental problems in Indonesia, plastic waste is one of them. Changing from brown products to green products is one way to overcome environmental problems. It is important to know green purchase intention to predict green purchasing behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived environmental responsibility and concern for self-image in emerging adult. Participants in this study are emerging adults (18-29 years old) who filled online questionaires. The result of this study indicated that perceived environmental responsibility and concern for self-image simultaneously affect green purchase intention in emerging adult consumer. The results also show that concern for self-image has stronger effect on green purchase intention than perceived environmental responsibility. Therefore, emerging adult consumer’s intention to buy green products are more influenced by concern for self-image than perceived environmental responsibility.

"Bergesernya tren gaya hidup yang mengedepankan ramah lingkungan akibat permasalahan lingkungan yang semakin mengkhawatirkan, mulai marak digunakannya green advertisement dalam menarik konsumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh green advertisement terhadap green skepticism konsumen dewasa muda pada produk green skincare. Metode eksperimen pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen randomized between-subjects two-group posttest only. Penelitian ini menggunakan poster iklan sebagai stimulus yang mewakili green advertisement. Green skepticism diukur menggunakan alat ukur dari Matthes dan Wonneberger (2014) dengan tiga item. Jumlah partisipan penelitian ini sebanyak 342 konsumen yang merupakan Warga Negara Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18—25 tahun. Peneliti memberikan perlakuan berupa dua stimulus poster green advertisement. Green skepticism konsumen diukur menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Matthes dan Wonneberger (2014). Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Independent Sample t-Test untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada green skepticism konsumen kelompok 1 (M=6.85, SD=2.473) berupa poster green advertisement dengan klaim ramah lingkungan (M=6.85, dan kelompok 2 (M=13.50, SD=3.808), t(340)= -19.205, p< 0.05 yang diberikan perlakuan poster green advertisement klaim ramah lingkungan yang menyesatkan (greenwashing).

The shift in lifestyle trends that prioritize environmentally friendly due to environmental problems that are increasingly worrying, the use of green advertisements is starting to be rife in attracting consumers. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of green advertisement on green skepticism of young adult consumers in green skincare products. The experimental method in this study used a randomized between-subjects two-group posttest experimental design only. This study uses advertisement posters as a stimulus that represents green advertisement. Green skepticism is measured using a measurement tool from Mathes and Wonneberger (2014) with three items. The number of participants in this study were 342 consumers who were Indonesian citizens with an age range of 18—25 years. The researcher gave treatment in the form of two stimulus green advertisement posters. Consumer green skepticism is measured using a measurement tool developed by Mathes and Wonneberger (2014). Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test method to test the hypothesis. The results showed that there was a significant effect on consumer green skepticism in group 1 (M=6.85, SD=2.473) in the form of green advertisement posters with green claims (M=6.85, and group 2 (M=13.50, SD=3.808), t (340) = -19.205, p < 0.05 which was given the green advertisement poster treatment of greenwashing claims."

"Dibutuhkan strategi untuk menanggulangi krisis sampah plastik dari industri Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, salah satunya dengan membuat produk berbahan dasar plastik lebih ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimental two-factor within-subject. Pengukuran Perceived Value menggunakan alat ukur oleh Konuk (2018). Jumlah partisipan sebanyak 133, merupakan WNI usia 18-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada Perceived Value konsumen saat diberikan produk sikat gigi dengan logo ramah lingkungan dan yang tidak F(1, 132) = 44.382, p < 0,001, η²p = 0.252), dan dengan teks ramah lingkungan dan yang tidak F(1,132) = 67.171, p < 0,001, η²p = 0.337). Selain itu, terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara logo dan juga teks ramah lingkungan terhadap Perceived Value F(1, 132) = 13.892, p < 0,001, η²p = 0.095). Kesimpulannya, penggunaan eco-label (logo dan teks ramah lingkungan) dapat mempengaruhi Perceived Value konsumen. Dengan begitu pihak produsen dapat mengaplikasikan penggunaan logo dan teks pada kemasan produk ramah lingkungan untuk memaksimalkan pemasaran.

A strategy is needed to overcome the plastic waste crisis from the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry, one of which is by making plastic-based products more environmentally friendly. The research method used a two-factor within-subject experimental design. Measurement of Perceived Value using measuring tools by Konuk (2018). The number of participants are 133 Indonesian citizens aged 18-25 years. The results showed that there was a significant difference in consumers' Perceived Value when given a toothbrush product with an environmentally friendly logo and one that was not F(1, 132) = 44,382, p < 0.001, ²p = 0.252), and with environmentally friendly text and those that were not F( 1.132) = 67171, p < 0.001, ²p = 0.337). In addition, there is a significant interaction between the logo and environmentally friendly text on the Perceived Value F(1, 132) = 13,892, p < 0.001, ²p = 0.095). In conclusion, the use of eco-labels (eco-friendly logos and texts) can affect consumers' Perceived Value. That way, producers can apply the use of logos and text on environmentally friendly product packaging to maximize marketing."

"Ultrasound-assisted enzymatic – aquous two phase extraction (UAE-ATPE) adalah salah satu metode ekstraksi hijau yang memiliki kelebihan seperti kondisi ekstraksi yang ramah lingkungan, biaya investasi yang rendah dan kebutuhan energi yang relatif kecil. Penggunaan enzim dalam metode ekstraksi ini akan mengkatalisis hidrolisis sitoderm dan glikoprotein, sehingga meningkatkan pelepasan zat bioaktif dengan memecah sel-sel daun keji beling. Senyawa fenolat yang terkandung dalam daun keji beling memiliki manfaat sebagai zat anti kolesterol, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai metode ekstraksi zat tersebut. Ekstraksi ultrasonik dilakukan dalam ekstraktor sistem batch dengan dilakukan selama 3 jam menggunakan sonikator dengan frekuensi 20 kHz dan variasi suhu 30oC dan 40oC. Ekstraksi dilakukan simultan dengan meggunakan enzim selulase (konsentrasi 30 mg/g daun kering) di dalam 509 mL buffer fosfat pH 6,5. ATPS yang digunakan adalah sistem etanol-ammonium sulfat dengan rasio konsentrasi 33:14 % w/w. Analisis nilai TPC menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dengan panjang gelombang 765 nm. Kadar fenolat tertinggi pada ekstraksi menggunakan konsentrasi enzim 30 mg/g daun kering adalah untuk suhu 30oC didapatkan pada menit ke 120 yakni 3,269 mg GAE/g serbuk daun sedangkan untuk kadar fenolat tertinggi untuk suhu 40oC didapatkan pada menit yang sama yaitu 3,758 mg GAE/g serbuk daun. Perbedaan kadar fenolat terbesar antara konsentrasi enzim 30 mg/g daun kering untuk suhu 30oC adalah 6,919% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi enzim 70 mg/g daun kering, sedangkan untuk suhu 40oC adalah 4,401% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi enzim 70 mg/g daun kering.

Ultrasound-assisted enzymatic – aqueous two phase extraction (UAE-ATPE) is a green extraction method which has advantages such as environmentally friendly extraction conditions, low investment costs and relatively small energy requirements. The use of enzymes in this extraction method will catalyze the hydrolysis of cytoderm and glycoproteins, thereby increasing the release of bioactive substances by breaking plant cells. The phenolic compounds contained in the keji beling leaves have benefits as anti-cholesterol substances, so it is necessary to do research on the method of extracting these substances.. Ultrasonic extraction was carried out in a batch system extractor for 3 hours using a sonicator with a frequency of 20 kHz and temperature variations of 30oC and 40oC. Extraction was carried out simultaneously using the cellulase enzyme (concentration 30 mg/g dry leaves) in 509 mL of phosphate buffer pH 6.5. The ATPS used is the ethanol-ammonium sulfate system with a concentration of 33;14% w/w. Analysis of TPC values using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer with a wavelength of 765 nm. The highest phenolic content in extraction using an enzyme concentration of 30 mg/g of dry leaves was obtained at a temperature of 30oC at the 120th minute, namely 3,269 mg GAE/g leaf powder, while the highest phenolic content for a temperature of 40oC was obtained at 120 minutes, namely 3,758 mg GAE/g. leaf powder. The biggest difference in phenolic levels between the enzyme concentration of 30 mg/g dry leaves for a temperature of 30oC was 6,919% lower than the enzyme concentration of 70 mg/g dry leaves, while for a temperature of 40oC it was 4,401% lower than the enzyme concentration of 70 mg/g. g dry leaves."

"Isu lingkungan sudah sejak lama menjadi topik pembahasan. Salah satu perusahaan minyak dan gas paling terkemuka, Shell, adalah perusahaan yang banyak dibahas perannya dalam kerusakan lingkungan. Shell pun dalam beberapa tahun belakangan mulai membuat program-program ramah lingkungan dan memulai transisi menuju produk energi terbarukan. Shell kemudian mengiklankan program tersebut, tetapi iklan-iklan yang telah dirilis dihadapkan banyak reaksi keberatan. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana citra ramah lingkungan dibangun melalui kata-kata dan sistem tanda dalam iklan Shell, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan unsur teks dan visual yang berkaitan dengan konsep ramah lingkungan dalam iklan-iklan Shell. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif sebagai metode. Teori makna referensial, sistem tanda, serta sustainable marketing digunakan untuk analisis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kata-kata dan ilustrasi dalam iklan-iklan Shell menunjukkan unsur sustainable marketing, namun tidak ada upaya Shell untuk mengungkit isu lingkungan sehingga citra ramah lingkungan belum tercapai sepenuhnya dan diperlukan kajian lebih lanjut.

Environmental issues have been a hot topic of discussion in recent years. One of the most prominent oil and gas companies, Shell, is a company that has been widely discussed about its role in environmental damage. In recent years, Shell started making environmentally friendly programs and starting the transition to renewable energy products. Shell advertised the program, but the advertisements that were released was met with backlash. The problem of this research is how does Shell build an environmentally friendly image through words and sign systems in its advertisements, thus the purpose of this research is to describe the textual and visual elements’ relation to the concept of being environmentally friendly in Shell advertisements. This study uses a qualitative approach as a method. Referential meaning theory, sign system, and sustainable marketing are used for analysis. The finding of this study is that the words used in Shell advertisements reflect a sign system. The words and illustrations in these advertisements also show elements of sustainable marketing, but there is no attempt by Shell to bring up environmental issues, therefore an environmentally friendly image has not been fully achieved and further studies are needed."

The increase of consumers awareness of and concerns for the environment, logically will lead their behaviour in selecting environment-friendly products.
In Indonesia, wearing batik apparel as daily use is now becoming a trend. Less formal compared to business suits, people wearing batik for both informal as well as formal occasion. Today, synthetic colour batik is highly accessible, easy to find in the market and almost used by people in Indonesia. In contrast to natural colour batik, that is less produced by certain batik producers since it takes longer and time-consuming. However, natural colour batik has its uniqueness for making it rare to find a similar design which eventually becomes its competitive advantage. As a matter of more prolonged in the production process and limited resource, the price of natural colour batik comes higher.
This study looks at the relationship among consumers environmental consciousness, perception, and perceived value to influence their purchasing decision towards natural colour batik as an environmentally friendly apparel product.

"Adanya pandemi COVID-19 menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan bagi banyak pihak, salah satunya UMKM Dua A yang berjuang untuk mempertahankan bisnisnya di tengah situasi yang serba dibatasi. Dimulai dengan upaya melakukan penjualan secara online, ternyata Dua A menghadapi kendala dimana sejumlah pelanggan mengeluh bahwa mereka menerima produk dalam keadaan yang rusak. Tidak hanya itu, adanya COVID-19 juga menimbulkan masalah penumpukan sampah akibat meningkatnya perilaku belanja online. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai perancangan ulang desain kemasan makanan ringan kerupuk, terutama bagi produk UMKM Dua A, agar lebih kuat, ramah lingkungan, dan juga menarik bagi pelanggan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kansei Engineering dan Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment for Environment untuk menciptakan solusi yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dari pihak pelanggan serta perusahaan. Dari penelitian ini, didapatkan bahwa rekomendasi kemasan yang dapat digunakan oleh UMKM Dua A adalah kemasan berbentuk kotak, terbuat dari cardboard, dan memiliki cushioning pada bagian dalam.

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused various problems for many parties, one of which is Dua A, a MSME who are struggling to maintain their business amid the chaotic situation. Starting with an effort to make their sales through online platform, it turns out that Dua A faces a problem where several customers complain that they receive damaged products. Not only that, the presence of COVID-19 has also caused the problem of accumulation of waste due to increased online shopping behavior. Therefore, in this study, we will discuss the redesign of the packaging of cracker snacks, especially for Dua A’s products, so that they are stronger, more environmentally friendly, and more attractive to customers. This research was conducted using the Kansei Engineering and Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment for Environment approach to create solutions that can meet the needs of customers and companies. From this study, it was found that the packaging recommendations that can be used by Dua A are box-shaped packaging, made of cardboard, and have cushioning on the inside."

"Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya peningkatan aktifitas operasional, ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat dalam menggunakan jasa pelabuhan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi berpotensi menurunkan kualitas lingkungan di pelabuhan akibat adanya timbulan sampah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini membangun kerangka quasi strategi pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan untuk memberikan konsep, saran dan pemikiran terkait pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan melalui pengelolaan sampah di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Karangantu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed method) kualitatif didukung kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan sampah dengan konsep berbasis kemitraan untuk saling memberikan keuntungan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa regulasi dan kemitraan pengelolaan sampah merupakan quasi strategi pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan.

This research is motivated by the increasing operational, economic, and social activities of the community in using port services to meet economic needs, which has the potential to degrade the environmental quality at the port due to waste generation. The main objective of this research is to construct a quasi-strategic framework for the development of an environmentally friendly fisheries port to provide concepts, recommendations, and thoughts related to the development of an environmentally friendly fisheries port through waste management at the Karangantu National Fishing Port. The method used is a mixed-method, with qualitative supported by quantitative approaches. The results of this research emphasize waste management with a partnership-based concept to mutually benefit each party. The conclusion drawn from this research is that waste management regulations and partnerships constitute quasi-strategic development for an environmentally friendly fisheries port."
