"One-stop platform transaksi saham memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia saham, namun fitur-fitur yang ditawarkan mampu mengubah perilaku investor dalam melakukan transaksi saham. Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh fitur “stream” sebagai media User Generated Content (UGC) serta hubungan antara fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dengan financial literacy investor dalam bertransaksi saham. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan PLS-SEM untuk melakukan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan nonprobability sampling. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada investor saham di Indonesia yang menggunakan platform Stockbit untuk bertransaksi dan dilakukan secara cross-sectional. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari information quality terhadap attitude toward purchase, namun tidak terdapat pengaruh dari perceived credibility dan perceived benefit. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa FoMO berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap subjective norms dan purchase intention, berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perceived behavioral control, namun tidak signifikan pada atittude towards purchase. Selain itu, financial literacy tidak signifikan terhadap purchase intention namun mampu memperlemah efek FoMO terhadap purchase intention. Penelitian ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan tentang hubungan UGC, FoMO, dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku investor/trader dalam membeli saham serta berkontribusi kepada manajemen Stockbit, praktisi, dan konsultan keuangan.

The one-stop platform of stock transaction has a positive effect on technological developments in the world of stock investment, but the features offered can change investor behavior in stocks transaction. This research investigates the influence of the "stream" feature as user generated content (UGC) media as well as the relationship between the fear of missing out (FoMO) phenomenon and investors' financial literacy in transacting stocks. This research implements partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to conduct quantitative research. Sample data collection was carried out using non-probability sampling. This research is limited to stock investors in Indonesia, using the Stockbit platform for transacting stock, and the research was conducted cross-sectionally. This research found that there was a positive and significant influence of information quality on attitudes towards purchase, but there was no influence of perceived credibility and perceived usefulness on attitudes towards purchase. The results of this research also show that FoMO has a positive and significant effect on subjective norms and purchase intentions, a negative and significant effect on perceived behavioral control, but is not significant on attitudes towards purchase. In addition, it was found that financial literacy was not significant on purchase intentions but was able to weaken the effect of FoMO on purchase intentions. This research increases knowledge about the relationship between UGC, FoMO, and financial literacy on investor/trader behavior in buying stocks. This research contributes to Stockbit management, psychology practitioners, influencer, and financial consultants in the world of stocks."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh perceived credibility, perceived usefulness, dan information quality dari user generated content (UGC), serta fear of missing out (FoMO) terhadap purchase intention pemain game gacha di Indonesia. Game seluler telah mencatat pendapatan terbesar di antara platform game lainnya, dengan game gacha seperti Genshin Impact dan Uma Musume berhasil mencapai 10 besar terlaris di seluruh dunia pada tahun 2021. Indonesia telah menunjukkan banyak potensi sebagai pasar game terbesar di Asia Tenggara dan diprediksikan penetrasi pengguna smartphone akan terus meningkat. Namun, baru sedikit penelitian yang dilakukan mengenai game gacha dan pengaruh user generated content terhadap purchase intention di game gacha. Studi yang menunjukkan pengaruh FoMO terhadap purchase intention dalam konteks video game juga masih minim. Pengukuran penelitian dan model struktural ini dilakukan menggunakan PLS-SEM dan 234 responden didapatkan melalui survei online. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa perceived credibility dan information quality dari UGC berpengaruh positif terhadap attitude, tetapi information quality dari UGC tidak berpengaruh terhadap attitude. FoMO berpengaruh positif terhadap purchase intention dan subjective norms, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap attitude dan perceived behavioral control. Dan attitude, subjective norms, dan perceived behavioral control berpengaruh positif terhadap purchase intention. Studi ini menyarankan bahwa pemasar harus mencoba mengembangkan strategi yang mendorong FoMO dan mendorong pembuatan user generated content karena dapat mengarah niat membeli para pemain game gacha.

This paper aims to empirically analyze the effect of perceived credibility, perceived usefulness, and information quality of user generated content (UGC), as well as fear of missing out (FoMO) towards purchase intention for gacha games in Indonesia. Mobile games has recorded the biggest revenue amongst the gaming platform, with several gacha games like Genshin Impact and Uma Musume made it to top 10 grossing worldwide in 2021. Indonesia has shown a lot of potential as the largest gaming market in South East Asia and increasing penetration of smartphone users. However, there is little known research regarding gacha games and the effect of user generated content towards purchase intention in gacha games. Studies which shows the effect of FoMO towards purchase intention in gaming is also minimal. This research measurement and structural model were assesed using PLS-SEM and 234 respondents data were collected from online survey. Finding shows that perceived credibility and perceived usefulness of UGC information has a positive effect towards attitude, but information quality of UGC has insignificant effect towards attitude. FoMO has a positive effect towards purchase intention and subjective norms, but insignificant effect towards attitude and perceived behavioral control. And attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control has positive effect towards purchase intention. The study suggests that marketers should try to develop FoMO inducing strategy and encourage the creation of user generated content as it may lead to purchase intention."

"Dewasa ini, User Generated Content (UGC) merupakan salah satu media utama bagi konsumen untuk membangun keterikatan dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan mengaitkan nilai fungsional dan nilai emosional yang dirasakan pengguna UGC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti content quality, design quality, dan technology quality UGC yang dapat mempengaruhi keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement), melalui nilai fungsional dan emosional sebagai mediator pada hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan model yang terdapat pada teori Stimulus-Organisme-Respons (S-O-R). Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan generasi Z dan milenial berusia 18-41 tahun, memiliki akun media sosial Youtube, Instagram, dan/atau Tiktok, serta pernah melihat UGC selama satu bulan terakhir. Kuesioner disebarkan secara online. Data sebanyak 286 responden yang terdapat pada penelitian utama diolah dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, nilai fungsional dan emosional memiliki peran sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara kualitas UGC dan keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement). Secara lebih lanjut, ditemukan bahwa content quality mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai fungsional dan nilai emosional sebagai mediator. Kemudian, technology quality dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai emosional dan design quality dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai emosional.

Nowadays, User Generated Content (UGC) is one of the main media for consumers to build brand engagement by linking the functional value and emotional value felt by UGC users. The purpose of this study is to examine the content quality, design quality, and technology quality of UGC that can affect consumer brand engagement, through functional and emotional values as mediators in the relationship. This study uses the model contained in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory. Respondents in this study were Generation Z and millennials aged 18-41 years, had social media accounts on Youtube, Instagram, and/or Tiktok, and had seen UGC for the past month. Questionnaires were distributed online. The data of 286 respondents in the main study was processed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that in general, functional and emotional values have a role as a mediator in the relationship between UGC quality and consumer brand engagement. Furthermore, it was found that content quality was able to have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of functional values and emotional values as mediators. Then, technology quality can have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of emotional values and design quality can have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of emotional values."

"Penelitian ilmiah makin banyak dilakukan terhadap user-generated content (UGC), khususnya terhadap platform media sosial TikTok. Salah satu kategori konten populer di TikTok merupakan konten ulasan makanan. Konsumen makin bergantung pada opini dan pengalaman nyata konsumen lain sebelum memutuskan suatu pembelian. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh user-generated content ulasan makanan di TikTok terhadap niat pembelian konsumen. Jurnal makalah ini berbasis tinjauan literatur yang didasarkan pada Social Proof theory dan perceived credibility. Peneliti menemukan beberapa faktor UGC yang dapat memengaruhi niat pembelian, seperti tiga karakteristik UGC ulasan makanan di TikTok (visual appeal, autentisitas, engagement), persepsi kredibilitas dari UGC terhadap niat pembelian, peran visual dan interaktivitas dalam kredibilitas ulasan makanan, serta aktivitas dan interaksi pengguna terhadap UGC yang secara kolektif memperkuat social proof, hingga akhirnya meningkatkan niat pembelian konsumen. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik UGC ulasan makanan di TikTok menjadi bukti sosial dan memengaruhi persepsi kredibilitas yang berpengaruh secara positif terhadap niat pembelian konsumen. Studi selanjutnya disarankan untuk mendalami perspektif, konsep-teori, dan fokus lain dalam mengkaji user-generated content terhadap variabel lain.

Scientific research is increasingly being conducted on user-generated content (UGC), especially on the TikTok social media platform. One of TikTok's popular content categories is food review content. Consumers increasingly rely on the opinions and real experiences of other consumers before deciding on a purchase. This study aims to identify the influence of user-generated food review content on TikTok on consumer purchase intentions. This paper journal is based on a literature review that is based on Social Proof theory and perceived credibility. Researchers found several UGC factors that can influence purchase intentions, such as three characteristics of UGC food reviews on TikTok (visual appeal, authenticity, engagement), perceived credibility of UGC on purchase intentions, the role of visuals and interactivity in the credibility of food reviews, and user activity and interaction with UGC that collectively strengthen social proof, ultimately increasing consumer purchase intentions. The findings show that the characteristics of UGC food reviews on TikTok serve as social proof and influence perceived credibility which has a positive effect on consumer purchase intentions. Further studies are suggested to explore other perspectives, concepts-theories, and focus on examining user-generated content against other variables."

"Persaingan platform UGC di Indonesia membuat perusahaan mempertahankan bisnis mereka dengan meningkatkan dan mempertahankan loyalitas blogger. Loyalitas merek yang kuat diyakini mampu membuat konsumen membeli kembali dan menolak beralih ke merek lain. Loyalitas blogger seharusnya dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, seperti kesadaran merek, persepsi kualitas, asosiasi merek, dan keunikan merek.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki secara empiris faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi loyalitas merek blogger dengan memeriksa persepsi dan loyalitas blogger terhadap platform blog Kompasiana.com.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian menggunakan survei kuesioner online menargetkan 200 blogger yang menulis di Kompasiana.com dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, korelasi dan regresi berganda yang akan mengenali korelasi antara faktor-faktornya.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran merek, persepsi kualitas, dan keunikan merek memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas merek, sementara itu, asosiasi merek tidak memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas merek kepada Kompasiana.com.
Hasilnya juga dapat direkomendasikan kepada perusahaan untuk merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan ekuitas merek mereka agar dapat bersaing untuk keberlanjutan bisnis, terutama pasar blogger di Indonesia.

The competition of the UGC platform in Indonesia makes companies maintain their business by increasing and retaining blogger loyalists. Strong brand loyalty is believed to be able to make consumers repurchase and resist switching to another brand. The bloggers` loyalty is supposed to be effected by many factors, such as brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand associations.
The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the factors affecting the blogger`s brand loyalty by examining bloggers perceptions and loyalty toward blog platform Kompasiana.com.
This paper proposes a research method using an online questionnaire survey targeting 200 bloggers who write in Kompasiana.com and analyzed using descriptive, correlation and multiple regression analysis that will recognize the correlation between its factors.
The results of this study show that brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand uniqueness has a significant positive effect on brand loyalty, meanwhile, brand associations doesn`t have a significant positive effect on brand loyalty to Kompasiana.com.
The results can also be recommended to companies to formulate strategies to increase their brand equity in order to compete for business sustainability, especially the blogger market in Indonesia.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh firm created dan user generated content sosial media terhadap brand equity pada salah satu industri yang tengah berkembang di Indonesia yakni industri smartphone. Data pada penelitian ini didapat dari penyebaran kuesioner secara online kepada pengguna smartphone OPPO yang telah menggunakan merek tersebut minimal 1 (satu) tahun terakhir dan aktif mengakses sosial media terkait merek OPPO dalam kurun waktu 6 (enam) bulan terakhir. Data ini diolah dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa firm created berpengaruh positif terhadap keseluruhan komponen brand equity yang terdiri dari brand awareness, brand loyalty dan perceived quality. Sedangkan user generated content hanya berpengaruh positif terhadap brand awareness. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan brand awareness tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap brand loyalty maupun perceived quality.

This research aims to analyzes The Effect of Firm Created and User Generated Content Social Media towards Brand Equity in one of emerging industry in Indonesia, smartphone industry. Data for this research were collected through online questionairre to OPPO consumers who have been using this brand for at least 1 (one) year and actively access social media about OPPO in the last 6 (six) months. They were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method.
The result of this research shows that firm created have a positive effect on all components of brand equity including brand awareness, brand loyalty and perceived quality. Meanwhile, user generated content only has a positive effect on brand awareness. The result of this research also shows that brand awareness doesn?t effect brand loyalty and perceived quality.

"Penelitian ini membahas seberapa besar pengaruh perceived homophily dan kredibilitas user-generated content terhadap purchase intention konsumen pada merek fashion lokal Indonesia melalui perspektif attitude towards UGC. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan responden yakni pengguna aktif media sosial TikTok yang mengikuti akun @mmivia, sehingga dapat dikatakan responden pernah menonton maupun melihat video UGC yang dibuat oleh akun tersebut. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur untuk membuktikan adanya hubungan dari perceived homophily dan kredibilitas user-generated content terhadap purchase intention baik secara langsung atau melalui mediasidari attitude towards UGC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel perceived homophily, source credibility dan attitude towards UGC terbukti secara signifikan berpengaruh langsung terhadap variabel purchase intention. Walaupun attitude towards UGC terbukti memengaruhi purchase intention secara langsung, variabel tersebut tidak memediasi hubungan pengaruh antar variabel lainnya.

This research studies the measure of influence that perceived homophily and user-generated content credibility have on consumer purchase intentions for local Indonesian fashion brands from the perspective of attitude towards UGC. This study uses a quantitative approach with respondents who are active users of the TikTok social media who follow the account @mmivia, so admittedly those respondents have watched or seen UGC videos made by that account. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and path analysis to prove that a relationship exists between perceived homophily and user-generated content credibility on purchase intentions directly or through the mediation of attitudes towards UGC. The results showed that perceived homophily, source credibility, and attitude towards UGC variables have significant direct effect on purchase intention variables. Although attitude toward UGC is proven to have a direct influence on purchase intention, this variable does not mediate the influence relationship between other variables."

"TikTok telah menjadi salah satu platform media sosial terbesar di dunia yang mengubah cara kita bersosialisasi di internet. Dorongan untuk tetap mendapat informasi tentang apa yang dilakukan orang lain adalah karakteristik yang menentukan dari rasa takut ketinggalan (FOMO), yang didefinisikan sebagai kekhawatiran berulang bahwa orang lain mungkin memiliki pengalaman berharga dimana individu tersebut tidak terlibat di pengalaman tersebut (Przybylski et al., 2013). Sedangkan menurut Dictionary of Psychology yang diterbitkan oleh American Psychological Association (n.d.), materialisme adalah seperangkat keyakinan yang mengutamakan kesuksesan dan kenyamanan finansial. Penelitian ini membahas hubungan antara mengonsumsi TikTok dengan FOMO, dan materialisme. Peserta (n = 381) direkrut melalui diseminasi online. Data dihitung menggunakan Korelasi Pearson untuk menentukan signifikansi korelasi. Berdasarkan analisis, penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara FOMO dan mengonsumsi TikTok dan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara materialisme dan mengonsumsi TikTok. Ini menunjukkan bahwa mengonsumsi TikTok yang tinggi mungkin dapat meningkatkan FOMO seseorang dan membuat individu tersebut lebih materialistis. Oleh karena itu, intervensi yang mungkin diperlukan untuk menangani FOMO dan materialisme sebagai efek negatif dari penggunaan TikTok sangat dibutuhkan.

TikTok has become one of the biggest social media platforms in the world, and it has changed how we socialise on the internet. The urge to stay informed about what others are doing is a defining characteristic of the fear of missing out (FOMO), which is defined as the recurrent worry that others may be having valuable experiences. At the same time, one is absent (Przybylski et al., 2013). According to the Dictionary of Psychology published by the American Psychological Association (n.d.), materialism is a set of beliefs that sets a premium on financial success and comfort. This study discusses the relationship between TikTok consumption FOMO, and materialism. Participants (n = 381) were recruited through online dissemination. The data was calculated using Pearson Correlation to determine the significance of the correlation. Based on the analysis, the study found significant data supporting the hypothesis. It was found that there is a significant positive correlation between FOMO and TikTok consumption and a significant positive correlation between materialism and TikTok consumption. This suggests that higher TikTok consumption may increase people’s FOMO and might become more materialistic. Therefore, possible intervention might be needed to handle FOMO and materialism as adverse effects of TikTok usage."

Fear of Missing Out adalah kecenderungan psikologis yang dirasakan seseorang ketika merasa khawatir akan kehilangan pengalaman atau hubungan sosial. Pesan daya tarik FoMO dapat mendorong individu untuk melakukan pembelian. Selain itu, emosi yang dirasakan oleh konsumen dapat memoderasi pengaruh seruan FoMO terhadap niat beli konsumen. Pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa fear of missing out dapat mempengaruhi niat beli konsumen. Daya tarik fear of missing out dapat memperkuat niat beli dengan meningkatkan anticipated elation, self enhancement atau melemahkan niat pembelian dengan meningkatkan anticipated expense regret.

Fear of missing out is a psychological tendency refers to a person’s concern over losing out on relationship or social interaction. FoMO appeal messages have the power to persuade people to buy. Furthermore, the impact of FoMO appeals on consumer’s purchase intentions can be mitigated by the emotions they experience. This study demonstrates how consumer’s intentions to buy might be influenced by their fear of losing out. The appeal of fear of missing out can strengthen purchase intention by increasing anticipated elation, self – enhancement or weaken purchase intention by increasing anticipated expense regret."

"Pengguna TikTok di Indonesia semakin berkembang pesat. Pengguna dapat langsung terhubung dengan informasi mengenai produk melalui User-Generated Content (UGC) di TikTok, sehingga dapat menarik perhatian konsumen untuk mengevaluasi produk sebelum melakukan pembelian. Studi ini mengkaji pengaruh sikap pengguna TikTok terhadap UGC terhadap niat pembelian konsumen dengan mengusulkan model untuk menilai pengaruh brand engagement, perceived source credibility, perceived source homophily, perceived benefits, dan information quality sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap terhadap UGC pada niat pembelian. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dari 256 pengguna TikTok di Indonesia yang telah menonton fashion UGC di TikTok. SEM-PLS digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa brand engagement, perceived source credibility, perceived source homophily, dan perceived benefits efek positif pada sikap terhadap UGC. Selain itu, sikap terhadap UGC di TikTok memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi niat membeli konsumen. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang strategi pemasaran digital dengan memeriksa pengaruh sikap konsumen terhadap UGC yang dibagikan di media sosial

TikTok users in Indonesia are growing rapidly. The users can directly connect with information through User-Generated Content (UGC) in TikTok which can attract consumers' attention to evaluate the product before making purchases. This study examines the effect of TikTok users' attitudes toward UGC on consumer purchase intention by proposing a model to assess the impact on purchase intention and brand engagement, perceived source credibility, perceived source homophily, perceived benefits, and information quality as the ancedentens of attitude toward UGC. This study uses purposive sampling from 256 TikTok users in Indonesia who have watched fashion UGC on TikTok. SEM-PLS was used to see the relationship between variables. The findings imply that brand engagement, perceived source credibility, perceived source homophily, and perceived benefit have a positive effect on attitude toward UGC. Also, attitude toward UGC in TikTok has a significant effect on generating purchase intention. The results provide a better understanding of digital marketing strategy by examining the influence of consumer attitudes toward UGC shared on social media."
